Software Systems Specialist

We are currently seeking an entry level Software Systems Specialist to join our workforce. We offer competitive wages, practice 5S principles for efficiency and effectiveness in the shop, and work in a climate-controlled environment.

Job Purpose:

Performs various Software related maintenance/creation of internal company solutions with an emphasis on Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and SQL Server Management Studio. This position will be primarily performed at a work station/PC and will require fast typing and programming skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Microsoft Access / Visual Basic
  • Maintain/Create software solutions using Microsoft Access/Visual Basic as needed.
• Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Server Management Studio
  • Create/Maintain SQL Views/Stored Procedures using the SQL Server Management Studio.
• Epicor ERP
  • Create/Maintain custom solutions within Epicor ERP.
  • Train as needed to develop a good understanding of customizing within Epicor ERP.
  • Act as the project manager for Epicor Upgrades and work with departments during the upgrade process
• Microsoft Office
  • Train users and/or build in MS Word/Excel.
• AutoIT/Scripting
  • Train users and/or develop in AutoIT/Scripting tools.
• iOS/iPad
  • Train users and/or develop iPad software/iOS platform.

Skills:

• Work well in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Must possess solid organizational skills and be able to multitask
• General familiarity with manufacturing operations a plus

Proficiencies:

• PC and Apple devices
• Microsoft Office: (Word, Excel, Access)
• MS Access VBA programming
• SQL (Structured Query Language)
• Experience with ERP systems a plus
