ABOUT SEYER INDUSTRIES

Founded in 1957, Seyer Industries is a small business located in St. Peters, Missouri, specializing in high-complexity machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and maritime industries. Seyer is a turnkey supplier with extensive capabilities, including CNC machining, design engineering, mechanical and electrical assembly, painting, kitting, welding, and NADCAP-certified penetrant and magnetic particle inspection. Our team is comprised of individuals proudly committed to the objectives of quality and productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary post-award contact with the customer, ensuring a successful business relationship for our company.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing cost, schedule, and contractual requirements for assigned projects.
  • Focus on preventing and resolving problems with projects and customers.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities with customers.
  • Create and manage project plans with attention to cost and schedule needs, and guide them to completion.
  • Use influence internally and with customers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Prepare and present regular project review updates internally.
  • Monitor jobs and projects and provide regular updates to customer.
  • Analyze projects and customer relationships to assess risk (cost, schedule, technical, etc.), opportunities, and taking corrective action when things are off track.
  • Coordinate personnel, schedule, and costs needs with other groups to accomplish objectives.
  • Communicate with excellence to our customers to ensure that their needs are understood and addressed.
  • Responsible for change order management, including cost and delivery impacts.
  • Recognized as the "Face of the Customer" within Seyer Industries, and the "Face of Seyer Industries" to our customers.

Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience interfacing with customers (preferably in manufacturing)
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with all personalities
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, Excel, Word, Access (Project a plus)
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Business acumen preferred
  • Familiarity with drawings/blueprints is a plus
