Continuous Improvement Technician

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Technician to collaborate with cross-functional teams, collect and analyze data, and utilize Lean or Six sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong problem- solving, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this position!

INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE JOB?

Duties:

  • Assist the Site Continuous Improvement Leader with executing lean initiatives to achieve strategic and tactical continuous improvement goals.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to execute lean/6S projects. This includes manual tasks such as painting floors, installing equipment/hardware, etc.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by utilizing and sharing knowledge of lean methodologies to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in lean projects by collecting and analyzing data, executing actions, and verifying effectiveness of continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist Maintenance with general housekeeping, machine maintenance, and other facility projects as assigned.
  • Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
  • Conform to Seyer Industries Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent organization skills

  • Consistent and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
