Our growing company is seeking a Contracts/Customer Support Specialist to join our team!
Job Duties
- Maintain effective two-way communication between various departments within Seyer and its customers.
- Responsible for communication and management of delivery status, technical issues and statement of work changes to and from customers in a timely manner
- Updates various databases and status reports for customers as requested
- Maintain customer scorecards at a high level, ensuring accurate data is reflected on these scorecards.
- Maintain various internal records/reports.
- Assist sales personnel whenever possible to help grow current and new customer business.
- Communicate to Customer Support Manager any problems meeting the customers delivery needs
- Build relationships with internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Technical Certificate & 3+ years relevant experience may substitute for Bachelor's Degree)
- Experience
- Prefer 3 years previous experience in customer support role
- Prefer previous experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
- Prefer background in ERP business functions and production software
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
- Skills / Competencies
- Must have excellent communication skills- written and verbal
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative
- Able to multitask and change priority quickly
- Able to present status effectively through report generation, verbal communication, email, etc.
- Prefer demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills. Strategic initiative is a must.
